Well I forgot how long its been since I did a journal! So much has changed in such a short time, so I guess Its time I fill everyone in!

I have now moved (sort of) with my partner, to Guildford in Surrey! He managed to land himself a job for EA Games there, as a world modeller. Im really proud of him, and his job sounds amazing, and Im really happy for him. So as he was moving there anyway, we decided we would get a place together We now have a lovely 1 bedroom flat about 1 minute walk away from the centre of Guildford from all the shops yay. However, all is not good. Im currently doing the whole commuting thing. Im at Guildford on the weekends, and in the week Im back in Cardiff, continuing to work for an animation company there. They are very busy, so the work is about which is good, as I need to money and experience. Ive tried emailing all the companies I could find in the london area for animation jobs, but no luck as there doesnt seem to be any about! Ive had some good responses to my work which is good tho, but they dont seem to be able to take people on at the moment. I may have to eventually get an office type job in Surrey to tie myself over until I can find an animation job there which may take some time. But whilst looking for jobs Im just staying in Cardiff. It sucks but the weeks go by fast and Im back in Guildford before I know it! I hope it will all work out soon. If anyone knows of any jobs in London or any companies to try then let me know! lol.

Anyway thats about it. Ive also been asked to work on an animation sketch show to gain some experience, which Im going to doing in my spare time also! So maybe that will help towards getting an animation job in the future too.
